Rokien you're just silly and I don't want to describe it any other way, you want a party play game but your ridiculous belief is that the only way to get it is to railroad people who want the ability to level solo or finish minor quests solo.

You Are the guy who stacks 75s, sits in Juno or Aht Urghan and gets his entertainment from making what you think are witty comments to what you think are female players. I know that now for an almost certainty.

I actually agree that every Mmo should be party based, but I should also be able to soak in some face time developing my hero solo, or villain if I want, there's still something called "rpg" attached to the genre. I shouldn't need a team to kill field rabble, I should need a team to kill the Hundreds of branding mobs from the FF series. Squall could take out most field enemies by himself until you get to the engage phase. In fact most all of ff main characters could solo passes the 2nd game, so that argument doesn't really work.

XI barely had a pulse, XIV is it's zombie. You should be asking SE to make a game that strikes the market and provides what you desire in the form of more meaningful challenges. Be honest, do you want to fight random stupid looking raptors and wolves? Or would you like to explore lands infested with marlborols ( always misspell that ) tonberries, maybe take out nms and hnms, fight in deep dungeon style raids or groups like the planned crystal tower that frankly sounds amazing?

Again, the market speaks for itself. Swtor sold a lot of boxes boasting its ability to make the mmorpg gamer feel truly heroic, it lost a lot of subscribers failing to actually make a fluid system of endgame, though it has still more active players than XIV..

Don't let your boyfriend (SE) abuse you anymore, stand up, come outside and see that today's technology and programming mixed with yesterday's writing and imagination is key to saving this game, put away your odd draconian rule book which was really pilfered from eq and Ultima somewhat poorly, and accept that hardly any gamers want that crap in their games and you probably don't either.

I bet if XIV was sitting on 2 million active players, there would have been 1 exp pack, and 2 more planned by now, we would be arguing about rumors regarding new races and jobs as opposed to how to help SE fix their broken concepts. The time spent ingame would be more meaningful, link shells would be abustle with chatter and drama, people would be cranking away at trying to get into crystal tower groups or other raids etc.

With post and vote number one NONE OF WHAT I JUST DESCRIBED WILL EVER COME TRUE! Look at reality for what it is. The economy is busted, people are depressed just watched a video of a man beating a pregnant woman for 50 dollars! You think someone wants to login to a game where they get beaten by foolish concepts for 9 a month while the real world does that to them daily and worse? Think again buster.
