Sir, Holminster ain't switching, and Zot would like to have a word with you.
"Outside obvious jokes/sarcasm, I aim to convey my words to the future readers who may come across mine posts. Can I change -your- mind, somehow? Potentially... but that's not why I'm writing. You and I have wrote our piece(s). We don't necessarily need to change each other's mind. But we can change other's."
We already had "this debate" twice. Trust in the devs is at a rather low point at this moment.
Shadowbringers, Holminster Switch is one of if not the hardest dungeon,
Endwalker, Tower of Zot is one of if not the hardest dungeon,
Even if by some miracle they drastically increase difficulty and later Dawntrail is a healing paradise in content design, healers are still broken all over the place in roulettes, tanks are still a co-healer, and we still only have 1-1-1 for filler.
I swear I’ve seen this exact same post come out every expansion.
‘Stop complaining about something that isn’t even out yet omg!’

‘Stop complaining about the content that’s already out when we haven’t even seen the new expansion!'
Like how much 'lived experience' of this exact issue happening every goddamn expansion before we're 'allowed' to complain?
9.0? 10.0?
Yeah, fair enough. I guess I'd just rather not make life harder for others because I'm unable to accept something. Healing isn't the best but it doesn't stop me playing with friends or enjoying the story. So I have no desire to participate in a strike that, if it gains enough traction, would cause chaos and probably create issues in other fields for the rest of the expansion. But I guess others don't see it that way.I swear I’ve seen this exact same post come out every expansion.

We are simply dropping a job that we don't enjoy playing anymore, there's nothing wrong with that at all.Yeah, fair enough. Besides, as other posters have said, we're a drop in the ocean and others are eager to replace us, let them.
History is riddled with claims that any dissatisfied group has chosen the wrong time, method, or place to complain.
Not to grandstand about how important FFXIV healer issues are in the wider scheme of humankind, but it's a common tactic whether people making the argument genuinely believe what they're saying or not.
It often doesn't hold water because they wouldn't notice or care about the issue if it didn't interfere with their day or perspective in some way. It's nonviolent protest 101.
It's absolutely fine in this case to just not worry about it and keep healing if you find your reasons, but it's not another player's job to make your queue go faster or even function at all if they don't enjoy that role.
It's such a depressing take that healers have to keep playing a role they're not having fun with so other people can enjoy the game.
