Yes, and SE deliberately is ignoring this because it would just negatively impact subs/player retention therefore does not make financial sense.

Especially raiders using fflogs during content drought to do fights for community made up rankings and RPers using appearance etc. mods are playing the game by making up their own content which is very nice for business perspective.

My money is on this as well. Plugins and modding are becoming normalized in the community, especially with recent reports of people gatekeeping savage/ultimate with plugin use requirements. Cosmetic mods alone being removed would shatter the RP scene. It's far too late to blanket ban them without facing financial consequences.

So they spent months and months on getting CC out of the door just to have people that cheat ruin it and they should sit back and let it happen? Same with ults and savage, what you troglodytes never get is they spend money making the game for NON cheaters. They wanna value the community that plays the game then they will come out with an anticheat. RPers will just have to go back to PSO2 NG....oh wait no they wont do that as the game is still dog water.

Yes they have let this issue go on for FAR too long but it is never too late to put their community first and do something about it.

It doesn't prevent cheats, only stops the bottom of the barrel sunday cheaters (which are mostly harmless). competitive cheaters will get around it regardless while everyone else has to deal with invasive anticheat.

IMO there's no need for anticheat, just have GMs spot-check raids/matches and ban people on the spot. And use the same method to ban bots. But that would be too simple and basic.

For almost all of my time playing the game I've had my own FC that is just me in it. Should that fact limit my ability to comment about the state of the game? Ohh no but me being in a huge FC for all of about a week does... right.

Bs. The fact that every person I talked to and brought up the fact that I find their ult weapons worthless because they cheated, or someone they were with cheated, then they get super pissed off and offended tells me you are as incorrect as someone can be. They have something they feel others (the majority) don't/won't have so they flaunt it. It isn't enough that most of them look terrible compared to the relics, now you can buy the things for gil... and if you wanna go against ToS buy runs with real money. Thing is most people doing ults have AM or some other form of cheats which is already against ToS so why not sell weapons too?

This is why a game can not put up with cheaters in pve, pvp, pvrpep. It is all the same, some people just making the game worse for everyone else.

They generally don't care until I bring up addons and or AM/cactbot, then they get in a tizzy about everything. Which has solidified my stance even more. The game needs an anti cheat, end of story.

IF they were to implement an anti-cheat, I'd be willing to bet the amount of people banned who use character mods would be magnitudes more than any raiders would. I would imagine the uproar from that crowd would insane.
