Elemental attacks won't work.

Do you even know which of the other five elements is strong against fire according to XIV lore? There's only like a handful of people on the forums who'd answer that correctly.

It’s actually wind

Wind fire and ice sit in a triangle as so lighting water and earth

Wind is good against fire, fire against ice and ice against wind, lightning is good against water, water against earth, earth against lightning

Guess that's my bad for not addressing my post directly to the OP.

But the point is, if we had working elements, we'd have lots of people trying to use water or ice against fire, or wind against earth, because XIV's elemental wheel doesn't follow typical associations. Some people would make it all the way to Lv100 without understanding the elemental wheel and then throw a tantrum when someone tried to explain to them that they were only doing 1/4 as much damage as they could if they would switch to wind instead of trying to use ice on a fire boss.

Oh I know you weren’t really making a general point I just have an unhealthy obsession with eureka so I know the elemental wheel far too well for my own good
