To the person whose character it is who has looked at them for days on end and sometimes very up close the smallest of changes will be very noticeable. But to most others those changes will not be as pronounced. So when they show people a current game and current benchmark and go I don't know how you can't see the minuscular changes that have been made. My Character looks as bad as that one lady's retouch of that painting of Jesus. If not more hideous than the inside of the mouth of a roundworm larvae. they should try to take a few breathes before reacting on high emotions when someone else replies basically with that one Office meme. Where only in one picture does the character look like they went and had a session at a high end photoshoot. When the person who doesn't see the infinitesimal changes is made to feel as they are failing very bad at a spot the 15 changes to this picture in a child's copy of Highlight Magazine (yes I know I'm showing my age with thar reference.)
It can feel as the person who is making the complaints are being a bit over dramatic if not overly emotional. Which sure it's fine to be emotional about your own character. But sometimes replying while having a "in the heat of the moment." well moment might not be the best thing. And many people's reactions to others who were either just trying to help troubleshoot or give encouraging words were well as bad if not worse than that grandma who was very distraught with worry about the well-being of her grandson who lived in Pelika Stand.
Course now there are two groups and who should the devs listen to? As neither group holds more weight than the other. Even if they think they might. They're both paying customers. Both care about how their characters look. I don't envy the dev team.
