Character graphical changes are NOT in an acceptable state, please make it optional

Alright one thing that some people here need to admit is that most changes we see so far are actually very small, tiny, baby, almost unnoticeable, pixel level different from the current version. Saying things like 'completely' different, 'not remotely close', when they are 97% similar is going way too far and that's why people may not take your opinion seriously. My twin brothers look more different than this. If you have provide your feedback on the update then move on. Nothing you can do for now.

Nah, people started on shitting on feedback way long before this, ignoring very obvious differences and trying to downplay them, because it's "barely different" or "I like it better" when they aren't even playing that race. Now there is a point that some people may not make the best comparisons or the best feedback, but let's be real for a second here. Nobody reads the EN forums, and the JP forums give high quality feedback with traced lines and such for the eyebrows/mouths/noses etc, I think they also cover other grievances like eye textures/roe nose/viera nose/etc. So at the end of the day it will probably not matter too much when people post their about their grievances regarding their characters neither does the influx of dud accounts whining about the former, and it's quite puzzling what some of you all get out of it.

Oh yeah - I'm familiar with the few people just disregarding everything right off the bat. I was there on page 1 of the Elezen post on the receiving end of that. I also know that the JP thread is more civilized and the one that is getting looked at the most so I put my feedback there on Sunday.

as I said before, I really need to draw my old character so that they do as they promised. Literally sit down and start drawing * but I'm sorry, I don't have the talent to do this, and why should I do the work for the developers * Yes, I'm one of those who see that my character has become someone who was bitten by wasps and he is completely different FOR ME. I can take screenshots and say this is not my character, especially in motion, how do I describe this feeling? My character is literally smiling with a stretch, as if her skin is stretched, how do you propose to describe it?
These are the developers, they have all the tools to compare before and after and they have to do it when they make certain promises!

I get that you're upset and I'm not here to say you can't be upset, but in my humble opinion as a fellow Face 1 Middie user - your character is close to identical before and after and really cute in both. She's not ugly. She looks the same. It's a cute face. No, she doesn't look like she was stung by wasps.

I dont have the new mspaint so I don't know how well they improved things with their new features, but might I recommend Krita instead! ^^;
Free painting tool with layers and tools meant for more control in image editing. It's what i've been using for my edits and breakdowns. Trying to do this in mspaint is a nightmare @@

thanks for the adequate response, it's nice to see this even after I started being impolite. But it's still not the same for me. In order not to be empty-mouthed, at the moment I asked my five friends who sees me every day and they all replied that your cheeks are bigger, your nose is different, your eyes are different, you have botox, you are stung by bees * which coincides with my opinion*, and they also like the previous one * because it is more familiar and/ or really better*. I'm absolutely in favor of graphic improvements, I just want all parties to be happy, But as for paint, I did the mixing there and it's so uncomfortable, it used to be much more convenient in Photoshop, but now there's only standard paint

So please imagine, I feel out of place when I watch a short demo with my character. And what happens when I need to do msq or even sidequests * I'm not a skipper* and with my English lesson I read slowly. During this, I would like to see a more familiar character, I would be glad to see the old version or the new one, where in my opinion I feel comfortable seeing this character. And I also want everyone to be satisfied, both who wants changes and who doesn't. I wish the developers to do everything right! :3

I think it just makes me sad seeing people being so devastated when a lot of these characters are so similar to their originals. My main character (Elezen male) has the wrong textures on his face which don't even need MSPaint to point out. I watch all cutscenes and roleplay with him. I have hundreds of screenshots/art of him. I know how you would feel watching your character who doesn't resonate with you anymore. But it's better to step back and take a deep breath right?

I was just trying to say (to everyone, not just you) that nitpicking minutia and making hundreds of threads that aren't clear in what they are seeing isn't doing anyone any good. I would say it probably hurts the chances of the devs listening to anything we are saying on NA forums. It's why I posted on JP even though I don't speak Japanese. My post here on NA got 5 votes and same post on JP got 63 because posts (especially about races that less people care about like Elezen/Roe) aren't being pushed back to page 8 of the forums due to everyone and their mother making a separate thread about specific features that no one else notices.

Not that those little things don't matter, but that people need to chill out. Everyone's characters are still cute even though the lips or the eyes are a little bit different. They aren't ugly and they aren't completely different characters. There are absolutely things to be changed, but it is still very close and they are going to make updates. They said so on the website.
