People need to be exact in what they are having a problem with because feelings can be interpreted in a number of ways. And from a design standpoint, those are usually being thrown away as nothing more than rambles. I did say that people should keep voicing their problems with the update, the devs need that to make it better (the squeaky wheel gets the grease, you know), but if you scatter the feedback you have in a thread like "Show your" chances are they will not look. Especially since the title does not add a specific mention of having any feedback in.
And the thread did get derailed, from people showing their before and after and some added comments on how they feel about it, to putting up a billboard of all the problems that they found by plastering over pictures of different characters to use as examples of how horrible the update is and add essays of every minuscule thing that upsets them. As well as creating an echo chamber where if you question people or say their characters look good, you get words put in your mouth and made as the bad guy, cause how dare you think my character looks good in the update! It's a lot of subjective complaints trying to appear as valid feedback. Everyone can be a critic, but it takes a lot of work to be a good critic. Take a step back, gather the information and put it in a format that is bereft of subjective thought and make sure it is concise. Then make a new thread and explain your points, no one wants for others to hate their characters, people just don't see eye to eye with you. So you need to make the effort to show them why instead of appealing to their feelings. Because they don't feel the same attachment, especially if they like the update as is.
I hope they listen to your complaints and find a middle ground, but you have to tell them in a way that can be easily understood and visible. Again a show your thread will probably not catch the attention of the devs when they are looking for feedback. However, an Au'Ra graphical update feedback thread would.
