I am against this change because the essence and advantage of being ranged physical/caster is lost... plain and simple.

Using the same logic with the room-wide hitboxes bosses have at the moment, then positional requirements on abilities have to be removed. What's the point of having those when you can hit it everywhere you want and its rear is not exposed anyway? These are a mere relic of the past.
