Should I detail how many people talked how racist her accent was too? We're talking about voice acting here. Who this person is in real life is none of my concern. I am not here to make personal attacks.

Dismissing criticism of other voice performances. Check

I've noted a lackluster voice acting there too. And noted how people making this argument are arguing completely in bad faith. /Check

Implying Sena isn't a professional actress. Check

More bad faith by assigning implications to another person. /Check

(also this is one of the most telling things because if this was really a problem you had, you'd be laying the blame at the casting director)

I don't really like playing the blame game. But... I actually did.

However I do not think a main character in a big beloved main entry to the Final Fantasy series is necessarily a place for practice. XIV has come a long way from it's humble roots where they had to re-make so much of the game, to now start dipping into a cheap hiree for a main character.

And in all my personal discussions, I said just the same. An actor like this, under any other circumstances would've been a "NEXT!" from the casting director. This was before I learned a bit more about the actor. And my opinion hasn't changed.

Also noticing that "it's just legitimate criticism" is the new "it's about ethics in games journalism" has been a revelation.

Indeed, it is quite sad to see SJW warriors and Activists try and inhabit this topic as well. Clearly they are not mature enough to understand when a person gives criticism, it can truly be just that. Criticism. And I do not consider a person's gender to be part of politics.
