Pictomancer is going to fit perfectly well into the world of moogle sky-kingdoms, Namazu festivals, time-travelling axolotls and whose oh-so-wise pseudogoddess decided that the best thing to help people through the impending apocalypse was a horde of adorable bunny rabbits of questionable competence.

And I think non-Lalafells will be fine at the pictomancer vibe. Yes, it will probably work best with characters who (regardless of race) suit a cutesy style, but a single character can pull off so many different moods while only changing their outfit, and in any case it's no different to reaper requiring an edgy mood or sage being cool and collected or any other stereotypes you might want to associate with past races.

Personally I'm itching to play around with it on most of my characters, like my cute male Miqo'te and Viera and my very girly Roegadyn; I've also put together a few costumes in advance including some more serious Renaissance artist sort of vibe that will suit my Elezen, so I think it's quite possible to get a glamour look away from the cute style regardless of what the attacks are going to be like.

We can also count from the existing dungeons that there are going to be a range of weapon styles. It needs one to fit in with all the Endwalker dungeons like the Garlean steampunk weapons, elaborate Palaka and gothic Ktiseos.

And ultimately, if Krile only suits it because she's a Lalafell, so what? She is a Lalafell, so it's fine and she'll make it work.
