Good. I really do wish that predatory nonsense would fall off a cliff and never come back. I left an MMO I'd played for 11 years due to said game committing itself to trying to emulate a smartphone game business model - namely gamble boxes and big-ticket (£300) item bundles.

There was at least one person on here insisting FF still had a market on Xbox consoles. But there's really no incentive for PC/PS users to switch to Xbox, especially since you have to repurchase the game. So that cuts out a lot of people.

It'll be interesting to see how hard they press the advertising for this, because - as things stand (and assuming there isn't something in the small print) - it's hard to see how they could put much of a positive spin on something like this.
