Why do people look back fondly at nier raids. I've never wiped in any of them and they were extremely long and boring.. There's just been that pvp meme in puppets bunker boss 2 with aiming the stack at another party but that's it, it doesn't actually wipe everyone.

Agree. I will die on the hill that the Nier raids are the worst Alliance raid series we've ever gotten. The wipes stopped week 1 (just like Myths), the fights are very long and very boring, the story is hollow nonsense, and it's literally a giant advertisement. I cannot believe to this day that people will defend a non-Final Fantasy ad that replaced a major expansion feature. At least Monster Hunter had the decency to be an *extra* trial, not a replacement of something.

Then you've been extremely lucky with your roulette groups. Pugs can and will wipe on just about anything, given half a chance. (Literally the only reason I say "just about" is that I've never managed to die fighting Thordan on Normal mode, even when he was current content, despite trying to do so for a laugh.) I've seen wipes in the Nier raids within the last couple of months.

I just wiped until stone vigil yesterday, lol. It was unbelievable
