I can't say I know how you experienced or what you experience cuz I'm not raided but one raid with a set group and that was P5s. It sounds like that ultimate group I forgot the name but remember it was pretty big at the time. Don't know if it's real or if you're just memeing that again I am sorry if all your friends have left I know it's hard to get into a game solo I know I tried this game twice solo and never got through ARR. If you are leaving I wish you enjoyment finding something to play and hopefully you find a new group or a group with similar interests because sadly truth is most groups drift apart.

I am sorry to hear you’ve encountered bad apples & that can be detrimental on trying to be motivated to play Eorzea.

Keep this in mind though, time’s change as it is the course of most MMOs & experience is subjective as it is irl.

Try to be hopeful to play again & avoid certain odds, people etc., or have a break from it till time again.

Don’t let it discourage you.

PS: We’re on a dry-phase/limbo till Dawntrail + holidays.

PSS: Try to relindle/reconnect with ingame friends, don’t generalize its entirety of it

We're at the final enormous content lull before the next expansion, so a lot of people aren't playing right now. Most of the raiding community has finished up, so you're just left with people who couldn't clear for whatever reason or people like the OP who weren't playing earlier. This is what you're going to have to deal with because of that.

I would recommend finding a static, because PF is not going to be safe until DT comes out.

I'm lucky to still be in touch with most of my ingame friends, don't worry, I know there are a lot of good players left in 14, and I've played with some of them during my 'journey in Party Finder', I have fond memories of it! You're right though, maybe I'll come back in a future expac, I still love this game, but I unfortunately can't continue to enjoy it at the moment

OP I even see that in casual content lmao, except in casual content they don't say anything. I'll put down a heal over time and they just blow like 2 of their giga CDs healing everyone up to full instead of letting my HoT do its work and I'm just like "alright w/e I guess." I wish someone would tell me I'm not doing enough; I'd tell them to just not heal for a bit and watch how absolutely nothing changes because they just blow their skills on nothing anyway. Saying this as someone who's excessively cautious at times btw, not even pretending to be above it. I don't usually care at all but I'd get frustrated if they started getting all uppity with me like their inability to assess a situation and manage their resources accordingly means I'm not doing my job. Lol. Lmao even. If the whole group's getting on you about it, just dip. Life's too short. Screw 'em.

Anyway yeah first post best post. Nearly everyone good at the game is gone rn. Roulettes are a clusterbomb nightmare and PF's a salt mine.

It's not even exclusive to this tier, the long wait for Dawntrail just makes it a lot more noticeable.
It happens every raid tier, the longer it goes on the worse players you will get in PF.
