I can promise people were more toxic in Stormblood than they are now. In Stormblood, it was either 1-wipe disband or 3-wipe disband. Now I join reclear parties on a regular basis where people will actually go for an hour or two (if the parties are that poor at mechanics) until the clear.
But that was on NA. You seem to be on a JP world and JP is a different culture entirely composed of people who mostly live in Japan. You're here discussing a JP issue in a forum with mostly NA and EU players.
Plenty of healers play badly like that and I usually don't notice it, because let's be honest, most of those buttons do the exact same thing: they heal people. As long as they actually press one of them when healing is needed, you don't really notice it.the later was always playing baddly on purpose, wasting all of their mana spamming the same shield over and over again when there was no threats, and starts attacking and harassing me for not healing, giving as proof their low mana, implying they were doing all the job, with most of the premade party attacking me too.
As a Warrior for example, I usually don't want healing. I hit my Bloodwhetting or Equilibrium to make a point that I am healing myself. But they can never resist throwing a useless Excogitation or Benediction on me. Fortunately, it doesn't matter, because it's just one of their countless heals they wasted on me and they have plenty more.
You're bound to have a bad experience once in a while. I've played the game about 9 years and had several bad experiences that made me feel that way. It's awful when people are rude but it's really not as common as you're suggesting so I suggest just venting it a bit to some friends and then move on from it. For PF, avoid any that have descriptions that indicate the Party Leader is toxic or otherwise not a chill person.I'm done with this game, what's the point of playing if people are at each's other throat because I guess attacking a rando is entertaining?
See to leave for that reason is fair enough, but over this one incident is a bit overblown. I know it doesn't feel good, but you'll get over it.All of my friends left the game some months ago, and I think I'll do the same.
Seems you are on an EU world so maybe it's different in the EU region. I genuinely don't see that sort of thing in the NA region at all. The times I played on EU worlds, I did see that sort of toxicity in Expert and Trial roulettes alone, so it may be more of an EU thing. However, there are lots of great people in the EU region as well.
