    I don't really think solo queue only frontlines would be that fun either. It's kind of weird to see it suggested so often since we fought for like 3+ years just to be able to play with friends in the first place, one of the biggest complaints about CC is lack of duo queue, but when it comes to frontlines people are so tired of losing to people playing together they want to make it so you have to solo queue that too. I just don't really get it. They've already removed the ability to queue 8 mans down to 4 mans. Are we really trying to make pvp be completely anti-group content?

    I'm not sure that a separate group queue would function either honestly. It would probably struggle to reach enough players for 72 player games.

    I guess this is why we can't ever have nice things.
    separating FL into 2 modes (1 for solo & and 1 for premade) would more than likely benefit both sides as it seems people who are against premades have been wittling down FL with each expansion,

    i doubt either mode (if implemented) would have trouble provided the appropriate incentives were placed,

    72 solo more than likely wouldnt see any issues as there is job xp and other rewards, a premade mode might have some hindrance if it were 72 but lower the required players needed (as suggested) as well as throw rewards in the mix and it will more than likely be active,

    i dont think a solo 72 mode would be fun in the context of a non solo player as it would more than likely be fun for solo players and vice versa(which is the point) i honestly dont understand why people who prefer pre mades want to keep qeing with solo players, id rather me and my fc mates go into another mode against another fc premade

    i also think a new small scale mode is in order like bring feast (deathmatch) but make it 2v2 or 3v3 with either only premade or seperate modes

    we cant have nice things because theres never any compromise to resolve an issue or willingness to demand more from the devs

    Make AoE attacks hit if the enemy is within the radius of the x-axis, y-axis, and z-axis of the skill. The Onsal ramp up to the middle of the map I find to be the most prominent example of AoEs not hitting. Although enemies are theoretically in range of attacks, they are on a different elevation, thus not being hit. This one seems like a weird oversight to me, and unless I can be corrected, I don't think there should be a barrier to this being implemented?

    Is it a line-of-sight issue? Like if you're a bit down a ramp, it can eclipse someone on the circular bit?

    Kinda. Let's say your character is at the bottom of a hill, and you cast an AoE on a target you can see at the top of the hill. There can be a second visible enemy between you and the character you cast the AoE on. They can be in the range of the AoE, but if they are far enough down the hill (which doesn't have to be very far albeit, a few yalms at most), they don't get hit.

    Gotcha, so it may be two independent issues, since if you're using 3rd-person camera you can see an opponent even if your character couldn't (l.o.s.), but also possibly there's simply a lower range on z-distance than x- and y-, which doesn't make a lot of sense and could be changed. Like one would expect AoE range to be based on SQRT*(x^2+y^2+z^2), but maybe it isn't.

    My previous suggestion of each team having a non-combatant commander, possibly drawn from a PvP mentor program, has proven about as popular as a rattlesnake in a lucky dip. But I'll drop it in here anyway for completeness.

    (Incidentally, this was inspired by a dream I had. I was sitting atop a fine, white horse on that elevated bit that overlooks Beach. All around me was my army of Roombas, which I commanded to sweep down the hill to attack Maelstrom. This is what happens when you eat cheese before bedtime.)

    I'm going to add here since I didn't give it some thought until later on. For the sake of frontlines I would like for most, if not all, aoe attacks to be balanced. Start nerfing damage the moment it touches a second person and go from there like pve has it with certain skills. It would make giving out adjustments way more easier in that mode.
