Time for an anti-cheat

In the military service, there were guys that thought rebelling against authority was cool, so they did not clean their bed or clothes, which made the whole squad getting punished for it.
One night, this guy woke up until blanket and got a beating from the squad.
From next day, the rebel guy got clean bed and clothes every single time so the superiors could not find any weak spot and punish whole squad for it.

Since the game is not designed for players to deal with cheaters their own way, and automated report system can be abuses, there's mediator - GMs, Community Managers, that in some form SHOULD translate the needs and wants to the game developers and managers, and back to the community.

Is anticheat impossible because of the Law? or technical issues?
Or because cheaters pay subscription as everyone else?

Unless there will be dialogue going on, things like this will get free pass and we better brace ourselves for Dawntrail filled with this.

Those are gil sellers botting not people using Viera hats or modded clothes or using parses.

Stop trolling lmao, bots are in every single MMO and so are currency sellers, does it suck ? Absolutely, but your doomsaying is comical, those same bots have been there for years and DT will be just fine despite them just like EW was fine despite the fact there's literally thousands botting across all servers (see search in New gridania on any dynamis world for an example)

Stormpeaks I'm holding you to pretty high standard in discussion, so I'll pretend you did not start with using Viera hat modders as example of cheaters. That few people that unironically uses viera hats is on the bottom of the list of cheating issues.
Let's start with the core of the problem and not the result of it.

How many times is the "no preorders, wait for reviews" mantra repeated, while most of people break it right after the words have left their mouth.
DT will be fine not because of the bots but because people have no self reflection and self control over their spending habits.

People will rather be ok with the current state of game rather than SE touching their $690 patreon mod collection.
