You can send them in-game mail to do the same thing, in fact it'd probably easier to find it then when its not lost in a a sea of other messages and emotes that eventually get removed when the chat box is full.I like that I can find a friend who's had to get up to attend to something and leave them a note, or an emote, or just be RIGHT THERE when they get back to the computer or tab back into the game. It's fun!
Just don't AFK on the summoning bell. Or the interaction point in GATEs.



This is incorrect now with DC-travel being prevalent. It would require them to go back to their main server to see the mail. Pre-DC travel I could see it but if it's someone that only goes back to their server once every few days or weeks then it stands a chance of not even being seen. I personally haven't been back to Dyna in almost a month and wouldn't go back just to check my mail unless I ordered something off the Mogstation because it's not worth server jumping 2 times just for that.
