Dude. Please.

Yeah, I liked the Shb role quests. I found them better. Incredible, isn't it ? And of course you know the ending: they're dead, announced as such from the start, and it's never hidden from you that the aim is to allow the redemption of these former warriors of the light. That doesn't stop the journey from being a pleasant one.

A side note, but I find it a little hypocritical to criticize this aspect when the job quests are so predictable. And when most of job quest don't really dwell into the job lore anymore.
Because the role quests arent good story content to replace the amount if world building and bits of lore tied to each job. Theyre literally just hunt side quests. There is no class fantasy involved in them, granted not every job quest did this perfectly but it at least focused on aspects of that job.

I dont criticize on the role quests themselves. Like I said, the stories are fine but if were going go pull this comparison war between them and the actual job quests then Im sorry but the role quests are too homogenized and formulaic and lack of substance compared to having a story tied to each job. Its basically asking only the dessert rather than a full course meal.

Youre wrong and its absolutely delusional that you think role quests are a good replacement for more job stories. They barely even play to each role's requirement! Like I said before, why in the flying F did they wrote the physical ranged EW quest where they didnt even do anything substantial for the blasphemy to warrant fighting it in range? They easily couldve just been a melee or a tank or heck a healer quest story. And this is just one example of the problem of these so called "role" quests
