At the same time it also depends on the lore we are given for the Female Hrothgar that the Player can choose comes from since I think most if not all Bozjan female Hrothgar are gone [...]

This is actually quite an interesting topic. As far as I would suggest, that due to the leadership position of women, the option with advisors is really good; also I believe that even the queen's maidens must have had fighting skills.
They definitely had to be trained, but since serving one queen could take a lifetime, I would compare them to ladies-in-waiting. That is, there could be a certain level of education, including political. Yet...

Regarding "disappearance", I have a whole section to analyze, and will be happy to introduce you to it.
At this, please, remember the moment when Ysayle appeared in the story. Back to it, Garlemald experienced a wave of "mercy" towards the "savages", believing that not everything in Eorzea deserved genocide. But when it became clear that someone had managed to summon Shiva alone and of their own free will, expressed fears were, that the Garleans, with their hate of any questions of it, would grind everyone into dust.
Now let's return to Bozja. Since the cult of the queen continued continuously for quite a long time, and the locals had a fairly clear plan to summon the Primal (usually through a woman), I have long had the assumption that the Hrothgar women were hunted; this sounds terrible, but makes sense to those who feared Save the Queen coming. But do Bozjan people look like idiots? No, I do not think so. Initially SE’ version of their “hide and seek” seemed far-fetched, but, in all, it makes sense. Probably, some of them would have been transported somewhere else - to the Tural as option, which is not as closed as Meracydia, for example.
