We should be able to change eye colour at the aesthetician

In one of the most pay to win MMOs ever, run by some of the greediest devs you've ever seen in your life, once you pay 15 dollars for their monthly sub you can make unlimited changes to your character's appearance as often as you like for free. You also gain access to an unlimited dye system as well, because why on earth would a basic color like actual-white (not this dingy grey "snow white" bs) be limited to an rng gacha component or the cash shop. The game I am referring to is black desert online.

If goddamned BDO can be better about this, why on earth can't we. Fantas are disgusting. You paid for the base game. You paid for the expansion. You paid to play monthly. Now pay to change your eye color too! The people who buy dozens of these when they go on sale for like a dollar off are why we'll never get what OP is asking for. Doesn't matter that it's gross, people buy it and that's all that matters.

I agree 100%. I remember yoshi-p was commenting about a request to alter more things in the aesthetician years ago, he said something to the effect of "the aesthetician can change small things, like hair color and contact lenses, not bone structure" I think he forgot we don't have contact lenses even though that is a good excuse for the aesthetician to be able to change eye color.

People ask for quality of life changes all the time. To call this a niche problem when there's a considerable part of the community that would appreciate this is an understatement. It's not on you to judge what is niche and what is not.



Unfortunately glams aren't account wide, so you can't test those, and there's a lot of areas in this game besides Limsa and your house. Your house also isn't constant.

You tried to create an excuse for why it shouldn't be adding by suggesting that people test out the important aspects of it on alternate characters before fantaing their main character and I pointed out that there are too many areas to test, and alternate characters won't have the glam that needs testing.

In general, all of the features should be accessible at the aesthetician. I think it is totally dumb and arbitrary to allow only certain features to be changed and not others, and fantasia potions are such an exploitative feature. I think only race changes are drastic enough to merit paying for.

Yeah it would be nice to not have to use a fantasia to change eye colour especially since it's something so small.
They could maybe add something like coloured contacts? Or just straight up letting you change your eye colour in the aesthetician.

I also love how many replies there are from others that don't disagree with the original point, but are instead choosing to ruminate on the doomer mentality that this will lose a company money that they already pay monthly to, are doing quite well financially, and that they would never or shouldn't change their minds on this because "iT's OuR fAuLt", or that people spend money to do this, therefore everyone should continue to do it forever.
