It's called reality. Why would a business give up a feature from one of its best sellers? This absolutely. Loved your reply to the manchild, btw.
I also love how many replies there are from others that don't disagree with the original point, but are instead choosing to ruminate on the doomer mentality that this will lose a company money that they already pay monthly to, are doing quite well financially, and that they would never or shouldn't change their minds on this because "iT's OuR fAuLt" or that because people spend money to do this, everyone should continue to do it forever.
Eh, at this point, they should follow Wow's example. You can change everything from your gender to your eye color for free. With only race changes being the purpose of well the race change. I think doing it that way doesn't break the game. I'm sure the people buying a Phanta to change eye color is extremely low. Everyone I know who uses them a lot it's always a different race, etc.
We should but the CEO needs their sixtieth galaxy.
Yeah, companies need to make money, but there are limits to what's reasonable and what's not. I also understand that it's not likely for them to change considering the amount of fantasia addicts in this game, but it won't stop people for asking.
I made the exact same mistake---using the free fantasia to give my character heterochromia. In my case, it was because I had taken to using eye coverings on him most of the time, but I felt lame doing it while knowing that there was absolutely nothing out of the ordinary about the eye that usually remained covered. So I changed one of his eyes to purple. I thought it looked great...and then I saw it outside of the character creator. After a few months, I caved and bought a fantasia so I could change him back to the way he was before.Same. I don't really like my character's heterochromia as much and want to go back to having regular eyes, but I don't want to use a fantasia to do it. Looking back the choice feels childish and I mostly did it because the game has so little choices in character customization to help make your character stand out more naturally.
My pet theory is that the free fanta actually exists to sell regret fantas.
First post is right. If the aesthetician can change your hair color permanently, add and remove scars, and give you makeup that is fused to your face until you pay him 2000 gil to remove it, he should also be able to give you some colored contacts.
I don't think you're supposed to agree with me after posting that meme.
Also funny how someone earlier called my take as a doomer mentality and now I'm a multi million company white knight.
I'm changing so fast I don't even need a fanta.

I agree I think skin also and maybe just leave Fantasia for the race change. But they want the gold so I doubt they will change it now.
No buddy, the two are related. Did you read my post? I said you hold the doomer mentality that by simply adding the ability to change eye colour and more to the aesthetician, the company won't make as much money. You didn't change, you were a multi million company white knight the whole time. Nice try at adding ironic humor, but don't quit your day job yet.
