Housing needs to be account based

There's no house available. The lottery system is a pain in the ass even for small houses. Sure there are houses in Dynamis but you can't buy them unless you're from Dynamis, but I wouldn't abandon my friends, my FC or my crystal pvp rank just to get a house.



I think you should just issue a warning beforehand and give them a refund for the houses they have, and make them choose one to keep. Making another account to have a house is more difficult than making another character, so at least we will lessen the issues.



I don't believe it's the best solution either, but it's one of them. I just don't think instanced housing will happen.

Yet the house next to my friend on Behemoth in personal/fc ward has had 0 bids for 3 cycles

so the housing problem is solved yes ? there are houses, you not wanting them because "it's goblet" or "it's empty" is not SE's problem.

What problem? I just bought another house last week (personal Goblet small) on Maduin. It was one house out of several hundred still available, including several mediums and a couple of larges.

Like real life, if you really want a house and can't get one where you currently live then you need to go where they're available. If you and others who claim they want a house won't, then there are others who will even if they already have houses.

Regarding account wide stuff, I'd agree about Mogstation items since they're a real money purchase. Achievements, MSQ, etc.? Nope. You can do it all on a single character so if you want those things on additional characters, play the content on that character.


There are a lot of things on Dynamis for those who aren't lazy and expecting convenience to be handed to them on a silver platter.

If the characters that had Dynamis for their home data center stayed on Dynamis instead of running off to one of the other data centers , queues would be active. The average active level 90 character population on Dynamis worlds is already higher than it is on the JP worlds per the latest LB census.

I rather wish that SE would turn off data center travel for a month and force characters back to their home worlds for the duration. If players had to interact with their home communities for a bit, most would probably see them in a different light.


Then the truth is that you're really not that interested in having a house so why complain?

Also, friends don't stop being friends just because you move. A good FC still includes former members that left on good terms in activities.

If you absolutely want your favorite house, a medium or a large, you move to Dynamis or you get in line on your own DC, it's up to you, if you dont, dont complain.
