the players got exactly what they asked for. They even made it more fair by making the players commit to bidding on a house so only one bid at time can be placed, so what's the problem here? As long as you hit the Gil requirement to buy a house, anybody can participate. Wasn't that the point? Didn't players want to level the playing field by not losing out to some guy who has 16 hours a day to wait for a house to open up?
What about the concerns about the players who can't play every day or travel some days and can't access the game sometimes? The way the system is currently set is considerate for that group of people because you just need to be on one day out of a week to make a bid, you wait a week, you have three four days to claim.
Those players who wanted these people to be accounted for got their wish, the ramifications of that were competition for a plot went way up and it takes longer to win a plot. The days of walking up to a plot and just claiming it are done, and the players were the one who asked for that to happen
