Enforce ilvl-sync to Alliance Raid Roulettes to put a stop to the Crystal Tower Spam

I'm starting to wish SE would do it just so I could read the complaints when players still get Crystal Tower 95% of the time.

...and it also takes 2-3x as long to do, there are repeated wipes, and occasionally, they don't even get the clear. Some people want TG Cid for 24 mans. Good GOD at the rose tinted goggles required to willingly ask for THAT again!

24 mans aren't supposed to be a bridge between normal and Extreme/Savage. They're supposed to be Normal. Effectively MSQ+, not Extreme or Savage-. Once upon a time, we had Hard modes of things to be that bridge. Unfortunately, those no longer exist. But every time they've made a 24 man with near-Extreme difficulty, it was a shite show. And it boggles my mind why people ask for that.

Indeed, that's the VERY REASON people CT cheesed in the first place.

But hey, I'm a big fan of "be careful what you wish for" and people getting a taste of their own medicine. All the Bozja complainers are getting a taste of it now with the Relics and complaining to no end. Sometimes, when people can't be convinced to see reason via logic and argument, the only solution is for them to get what they're asking for and, in suffering, realize they were wrong. The real danger is the people that, even in suffering, will continue to insist that they were right and it just wasn't done "the right way", as if they have some secret key that no one else has access to.

For my part, I wouldn't mind 24 man (Hard) being introduced to the game, but right now, we don't have it, and 24 mans right now are mostly for the spectacle and some chill fun and catch-up/glamour gear, or a que to help level alt Jobs. And they meet that objective just fine as they are.

Alright after reading through all this, this is more of a multi-layered problem than I once thought.

It seems like the only solution here is that the Crystal Tower Series would need a serious revamping and along with how Roulette Rewards work, there is parts of 2.0 that is kind of suffering which is outside the scope of this topic, but Crystal Tower is one of those.

I see one solution is turning into a solo-instance, but in some ways it would be a pretty big sacrifice to lose a entire alliance raid, given though it hasn't stopped Devs since they chopped up the Praetorium and Castrum (which I'll sadly miss).

Maybe Alliance Roulettes should be divided up by Major Patch Content?

Alliance Raid 2.0
Alliance Raid 3.0
Alliance Raid 4.0, and etc.

Depending on your level the reward is adjusted, that is one other thing I can think of.

Square Enix was pressured into making this decision. It is not really their decision but the decision of the loud minority.

This change did exactly what it was supposed to, it made it easy for people to queue directly into the other raids and have them actually pop at a decent rate

The opinions of the “im a new player levelling and now I’m locked out of the Alliance roulette” or the “I’ve been playing for 10 years and I’m sick of CT” both really don’t matter here, the roulettes are designed to pop content for people queuing for it directly, this change has made direct queuing immensely better, therefore by the own rules of the roulette this was a good change

I think the devs didn't go far enough. They should make the EXP you get from the roulette be based on how many raids you have unlocked.

I unironically believe that “MSQ associated content” (like say eden) should be made mandatory to unlock its respective roulette and keep it unlocked going forward, none of this “I only unlocked A1 and A2”
