    He said that they were busy with the Calamity's aftermath, not that they could have done something about the Calamity itself.
    Im not sure if you understand that this isn't the own that you think it is. I didn't give the exact quote but what do you think that quote means? "we were busy". And in case people forget the context he just mentioned it when he saw Gods Grip for the first time since before the calamity. It wasn't like he was saying "that wasn't our duty".

    But like okay "occupied with our respective duties", well wouldn't a world ending event be a respective duty!? And if not why not? I want to be told why, not just hand woven. And in that what about the other calamities!? Like this all just makes my point for me.
