    I've seen this happen before with other developers, and how many MMOs actually suffered for snuffing out feedback? Plenty, and most paid the price for it.

    One I've seen was Elder Scrolls Online, they were so completely arrogant in their approach that it caused them to bleed players until they finally decided to make some major changes (last I heard anyway).
    Oh but you see, nothing will happen because FF14 isn't a video game. It's a platform for people to ERP. It won't die until modders move on to another game

    Admittingly yeah they do make up a good portion of this game, disturbingly so.
