The State of Endwalker: A 2 year Recap.

This is like the most perfect counter post I've seen in regards to Aveyond and its funny when other people show receipts etc to prove a point but in this instance oh boy lol.

And the perfect counter to the current state of how cringe FFXIV has become is the fact that CBU3 went on to make a game that was almost entirely aligned with my tastes and interests in FFXVI. If you want to claim some kind of victory in FFXIV as the game continues to spiral further and further away from what brought players like me to it then you are free to do so. But FFXVI gave me everything I wanted that was ripped away from FFXIV.

I stand by everything I've said. If anything, I am more entrenched than ever in my opinions and delight in the fact that I have a recent mainline FF title that validates them all. And I maintain that FFXIV would have been better off not catering to the crowd that dragged it down to it's current state. They can do so much better, and I hope that someday in the distant future after DT has had it's predictable outcome that a return to form in XIV finally happens.

First things first they need to figure out how to make content and gameplay that doesn't turn people off after a few hours though. Until that happens there's no game here, only a visual novel akin to the FFXIV AU High School manga.

Hey I like FF16 don't get me wrong but it wasn't exactly perfect itself, watered down the RPG mechanics the franchise is known for and done FF14 style padding quests in between key plot points which it didn't need to do. Also its not about victory its about pointing out the hypocrisy you exhibit. Sometimes you make good points but that post the other user did shows how out of touch you are with the world or cultures and you want a game made for you and you alone....not everyone agrees with your vision as I have seen loads always debate you for your fan fiction. This isn't the game for you anymore as you so put it....do we need to go back and forth with if they changed and you came back and if it didn't you'd sub just to post why its not changing...there's no victory here...its just sad really.

Actually they converted FF11 sub money crysta or whatever its called to sub back into 14....either way they essentially gave them money regardless...

I don't get how you can enjoy ff16 but not ff14 when there stories and questing are structured exactly the same with how they tell the stories. The only difference is ff16 has more mature scenes and shows off character deaths in better ways. I don't have problems with your post or you in general but it's also hard to take your words seriously when you keep going back on your word of quitting for good and can't see how very similar ff16 is to ff14. FF16 doesn't even feel like a rpg it plays like god of war and devil may cry the only rpg elements it really has is it's questing and story structure.

The more mature scenes is almost like a early teen swearing for the first time or watching there first adult film or trying to write there first erotic novel. FF16 is so much like ff14 down to even how the story and sidequest works but apparently ff14 is "too cringe". I agree that the scions at this point are annoying and would like new characters to join our adventures but i can't dismiss the fact the ff16 plays just like ff14 but with a different combat. If ff14 is "cringe" ff16 has cringe levels of mature scenes with how they play out. I can tell they weren't use to writing mature scenes and it showed considering it was the first mainline game in the series with a mature rating.
