Here's "the pulse" that Aveyond had his finger on:

Women shouldn't be allowed to have a personality unless I think they're hot!

Also, Runar deserved someone better who was more emotionally receptive and less arrogant, especially given his warm nature.

This isn't even controversial, it's how the world works. Bad attitude, nothing going on with her looks, topped off with the Mary Sue thing and I am bewildered as to why I'm supposed to find this character likeable or why she of all people gets to be this game's postergirl.
    I'm mad about femroes!

I did not bother to read G’raha Tia’s dialogue and only got his lines second hand – my thoughts on him have already been articulated a thousand times over. What is clear to me is that this femroe is offering fierce competition for him as to which character is more annoying.

I feel like I shouldn't have to point out how obviously on the nose these lines of dialogue were and that I struggle to understand why they made it into the game...when such text was often criticized as being too much when it came from the previous EN localization team. As was the case for several other notable examples from EW's msq text which led to differences in understanding the story, I feel like this was a step too far in terms "creativity."
    I'm mad about beds!

I'm sorry, but why? Why after the high chair do we continue getting these strange and honestly creepy items? Who is the target audience for this? Because it isn't people like myself.

I do not want to see this stuff in game, and I cannot believe that resources were allocated to this. Not as if we didn't already have a flying bed mount anyway.
    Thinly veiled rabbit misogyny!

Voeburt was also a kingdom of the First’s equivalent of Au Ra and Roegadyn. Would it not have been more appropriate for something akin to the Myths femroe to show up there instead of embarrassing male Viera further than they already have been with the Starlight Celebration quests?

Curious how Lyna gets to go be a Guard Captain whereas all Anden gets to be is a sheep farmer. Oh but he can come back to the woods whenever because Viera laws just don’t matter anymore.
You're not a man if you don't look like Captain America and all characters I don't like should be removed!

Men usually get the short end of the stick in both customization available to players and the overall appearances of male NPCs, save a few. However, I think it's important to put an immediate halt to these sort of odd looking, widely believed to be self-inserted characters such as the aforementioned one from the alliance raid and the atrocious Viera that kept randomly showing up in Bozja wearing sunglasses.

At this point "subverting expectations" in this regard would mean staying away from those sort of quirky designed characters which have us on a fast-track to someday see our very own version of Fire Emblem Engage's toothpaste chan and delivering more along the lines of this:

The list goes on and on.

Everybody is entitled to their opinion, but Aveyond trying to characterize his past history as if he was some sort of prophet ridiculed for speaking the truth that everyone is now waking up to is absolutely hilarious. Nobody had a problem with your comments about the content drought, Avvy. They had a problem with your... everything else.
