It's happened on the forums for many years. It's also pretty logical that some people could just get burned out after 10 years.
Not yet. Not at all. Endwalker had so many great ideas, and they've got plenty more as you can see with Dawntrail. They have told us in interviews that although we may be worried they were at the "end" of the story, they have lots more ideas which is part of why they were so eager to finish the previous arc. In fact, Emet Selch's last lines were meant to be a message to players that there are plenty more ideas and not to worry.but the staff/team may be out of ideas too.
We had this in ARR. People just choose the most efficient one. As for variant dungeons, well, they are making those or you wouldn't have had an example to give, so? We could also argue deep dungeons vary as well.dungeons having multiple routes like criterion
Changing more frequently would be ideal, such as every day or week, but there was obviously a reason for it. They spend a lot of time actually testing and rescaling it by hand to make sure it's possible to clear at level 90. For example, Leviathan's water and reflect attacks were so deadly at level 80 that they had to nerf them and they don't want something like that to happen because of some automatic scaling.unreal changing every 2 weeks
No point scrapping it at this point. May as well allow in-door housing items and then it will act as instanced housing.Island sanctuary scrap and do island ishgard making players build it up from scratch in patches
It is mainly just used for MSQ progression anyway, and they want to cater to the single player final fantasy gamers now, so they just disagree with you. They obviously are not going to go back on this major business decision they made and subsequently announced.trust removed for msq progression only. This is an mmo. Stop catering to single player
We get 2 FATEs like that in each expansion and S ranks actually need about 24 people at release, otherwise they take ages to kill. I remember spending 20-40 minutes fighting one with 3 people at Shadowbringers release. This was because the instances caused a massive backlog of S ranks to be "ready to spawn" at the early morning hours and people got tired and burned out and went to sleep (and probably cross-world as a concept was still newer). They had lots of mechanics and all of them were deadly, often even to tanks. We were killing 2-3 per hour yet there were probably 50 Shadowbringers S ranks ready to spawn and it was exhausting.overworld superboses that aren't just fates or sranks and take hundreds of ppl to kill
But we could have more, sure, or they could take even more than 24 to kill.
Well suggestions then? Isn't this what MMOs do?new reward system aside from mounts/glam/minions/titles. Srsly the novelty wares off.
Restoring other areas would be nice, such as the rubble in Yanxia, Garlemald or elsewhere.update ishgard restoration for lvl 90 and on or make a new restoration.
I suppose constantly adding jobs is probably why they feel the need to homogenize. But also part of the reason is the community saying "well this tank has X thing, so the other one should!" while at the same time complaining about the very homogenization they are asking for.stop adding new jobs and fix every job rn so that it's not a homogenised mess.
Define properly. They constantly rebalance it to make sure there is a 50% win rate for all the jobs.balance pvp properly and deal with croud control abuse
