    I like most of the list and would be a great improvement, but would never fly.

    the relic/savage weaponry...being able to upgrade would be okay, but then whats the point in adding in new ones at that point?

    stop adding new jobs I completely agree with. been saying that for ages... but they will not stop. why? its the easiest "content fix"a game I used to play adds a new character almost every 6 months. they do that to keep people around and playing. it is much easier than reworking what they have now, and I suspect much cheaper resource wise.

    plus, for consistency, you would likely have the same team doing them all and all release at the same time. its far easier for them to cherry pick good abilities from other jobs and come up with a "new" job. at least we get to have them all on one character... saves needing more character slots for basically what we already have.

    because u still need to keep up with current ilevel

    as for jobs, add paths like GW2. then u can keep changing jobs up without adding new ones

    Agree to some extent: what I would change is that the selection of the route should be random every time you step in and not up to players. Otherwise, people would just chose the easiest/fastest.

    I actually use trusts mainly for MSQ: I get to enjoy the story, my cutscenes and the banter without anyone rushing because they already cleared it or are not interested. Watching cutscenes at the inns is not the same and you’ve already been spoiled. I also very occasionally like it to try a new job or skip queue to farm something.

    The npcs are so inefficient that I think players who only use trusts would simply not play otherwise so it doesn’t really affect anything. Let them have their fun.

    *overworld superboses that aren't just fates or sranks and take hundreds of ppl to kill
    hundreds? Hello congestion. No thank you. Hunts with 100+ players are already quite annoying.

    *Relic weapons / savage gear upgrade from the previous expansion. Boom now all content is relivant. Does this make it hard for new ppl? No. Unsynch that stuff but now u have a reason to allways be doing it.
    no, fresh start is fine. If I want to switch jobs for the new expansion, I don’t have backtrack all the way.

    Plus not every past content can be soloed and finding groups can take long. I also think about content like Bozja: last time I found myself alone in the instance most of the time. I had to run around to spawn and solo my own CEs. On top of being tedious and an awful long grind, some people might not be able to do that by the pile of bodies on the ground after group CEs. It would be a pain for new jobs and it would be discouraging for new players.

    *stop adding new jobs and fix every job rn so that it's not a homogenised mess.
    Agreed and the 2 min meta which is awfully boring.

    *balance pvp properly and deal with croud control abuse

    I've said this a lot in any places, so it's beating a dead horse for me, but here they are anyway:

    1) Build a proper, real physics engine for the environment. A real 3d-platforming jump and fixed hit boxes.
    2) Rework your in-game UI/tooltips to be less TEXTY and more graphical;
    ---->Put every single jobs' intended rotation in game in a graphical way, with things labeled like they are on the webpage.
    ---->Explain skill weaving ("These are extra abilities you can use between Global Cooldown skills.")
    3) Revise the main menu "orbs"; Specifically why certain things are in "Character Settings" and not "System Settings".
    4) Rework job quests to specifically teach the rotation and allow you to test it out/get feedback on doing it correctly. Alternatively add this to The Smith (Options could just be "Current Job Skill Guide")
    5) Add more purpose to Open World. Include more things to do in open world that are NOT fates. Minigames (Jumping Puzzles, actual racing, etc; literally just copy Guildwars 2)
    6) Next Open Midcore Content- Eureka-sized dungeon(s) with switches/doors/chest/etc where you have to literally delve/search out certain monsters/treasures/paths in a limited amount of time. Certain obstacles cleared might give more time. No bosses rooms but pop-able Eureka-style NMs. See FF11 Dungeons.
    7) More Level-free things to do (like Gold Saucer/Ocean Fishing) where people can just goof off -together- without worrying about XP/gear. Casual stuff. Maybe a checkerboard or deck of cards.

    id be down for a minning/botnist version of ocean fishing. (please make them seperate) these worked so well for rs. skilling is genuinly enjoyable and needs expanded on

    To kaynide: So, in essence, rewrite the whole game and make it something closer to, um, Gear Wars 2 and Final Fantasy 11?

    Not sure that the Japanese play checkers. They have something called Shogi, though.

    The engine behind the game, yes; not "the whole game".

    When you add "Chocobo RACING" and it's really, essentially, Temple Run with 4-5 "lanes" you run in, it's not racing.

    I'm living in Japan, they are aware of Checkers. But they prefer Othello(Reversi?in USA)

    GW example races:
    This is a solo time trial
    A group of Raptor-riders racing (Raptors are a bit slower/easier for newbies)
