Agree to some extent: what I would change is that the selection of the route should be random every time you step in and not up to players. Otherwise, people would just chose the easiest/fastest.
One per patch is too slow but considering how bad some groups can be, two weeks may be too short and many would not bother learning the fights. Some people may not be available either during one or both weeks. Maybe a month or two or release several and rotate them.* unreal changing every 2 weeks with a treasure chest in the duty dropping all the same old stuff + new augment item for the weapons from that fight (and a pity system version of it)

I actually use trusts mainly for MSQ: I get to enjoy the story, my cutscenes and the banter without anyone rushing because they already cleared it or are not interested. Watching cutscenes at the inns is not the same and you’ve already been spoiled. I also very occasionally like it to try a new job or skip queue to farm something.*trust removed for msq progression only. This is an mmo. Stop catering to single player
The npcs are so inefficient that I think players who only use trusts would simply not play otherwise so it doesn’t really affect anything. Let them have their fun.
hundreds? Hello congestion. No thank you. Hunts with 100+ players are already quite annoying.*overworld superboses that aren't just fates or sranks and take hundreds of ppl to kill
no, fresh start is fine. If I want to switch jobs for the new expansion, I don’t have backtrack all the way.*Relic weapons / savage gear upgrade from the previous expansion. Boom now all content is relivant. Does this make it hard for new ppl? No. Unsynch that stuff but now u have a reason to allways be doing it.
Plus not every past content can be soloed and finding groups can take long. I also think about content like Bozja: last time I found myself alone in the instance most of the time. I had to run around to spawn and solo my own CEs. On top of being tedious and an awful long grind, some people might not be able to do that by the pile of bodies on the ground after group CEs. It would be a pain for new jobs and it would be discouraging for new players.
