To kaynide: So, in essence, rewrite the whole game and make it something closer to, um, Gear Wars 2 and Final Fantasy 11?

Not sure that the Japanese play checkers. They have something called Shogi, though.

The engine behind the game, yes; not "the whole game".

When you add "Chocobo RACING" and it's really, essentially, Temple Run with 4-5 "lanes" you run in, it's not racing.

I'm living in Japan, they are aware of Checkers. But they prefer Othello(Reversi?in USA)

More incentive to go and run around in the open world. I really liked how bicolor gemstones got me into doing random Fates, even at max level. Because there was actual incentive to do it besides exp and grand company cash.

I'd love to see more things like that in the open world to get more players to come out of the city hubs and actually explore the zones.

Hamelt Defense and essentially giving out reward points that can be exchanged for rare items and such for maintaining zones from devolving into dangerous hazard zones would make for a nice change to the open world and help it feel more alive.

Part of me feels like we can make all the suggestions we want, but SE will just ignore it all then add the auto battle and auto repeat settings buttons you find on alot of mobile games so ppl can just watch the game play itself...
