    I want the pvp sniper rifle lb for pve mch.

    ALSO SE PLEASE PLEASE MAKE THE MCH ACTIONS FINALLY INTO AOE ACTIONS. It can't be that hard to turn wildfire into an aoe action and the queen to make aoe damage. As a MCH you use like 5% of your normal rotation while the summoner has just aoe on literally everything.

    I just want QoL for "dead buttons". Dead buttons are gcd/ogcds that are only active when you use another skill. The biggest offender of this is Draw from AST. Draw and Play should be a single button. Draw in PvE should act like it does in PvP. In fact, a lot of skills can act like it does in PvP where skills share the same button. Some examples include:

    WAR = Inner Release, Primal Rend
    SMN/SCH = Aetherflow, Energy Drain

    They also need to stop making ogcds that are specifically for single target or aoe. Just make them single target in earlier levels then upgrade them to aoe but have the diminishing returns on every other target. WAR for example, can have upheaval upgrade into orogeny with 400 potency on first target and 150 on all other targets. One button does it all and frees up space for other new skills to be added. They just need to be smarter with their design choices and the PvP team has proven that it can work so there is no excuse why you need multiple buttons just to perform one skill.

    DONT take my positionals. i love them. you should totally create one melee without positionals for people who dont like positionals. thats absolutely fine, but there should be differences between the different jobs.

    leave dragoon with its positionals and give it back that sweet little effect from shb. the one that upgrades the first skill in your next combo only if you hit the last positional of the combo before. that made the whole thing more satisfying


    nowadays we have that (i guess its more limiting to make) boss design with the almost 100% uptime for everyone... thank you but no. make hit boxes smaller again. we dont need 100% uptime. of course we always want more uptime but thats also part of the fun.
    how far away do i have to go? when can i go back to the boss without taking dmg?
    that would also mean to keep the range tax xD

    i get its easier to balance, but please dont destroy one difference between jobs and roles after another.
    i play melee because of reasons. if it makes me happy to have 100% uptime i wouldnt play melee... and if it makes me happy to jump around mid battle without point i would play a job without positionals. (i am so sick of people telling me i can still move around if they remove positionsls. its not the same)

    My biggest want is that they change the 2 minute meta... Which I feel it's rather unlikely, and although not impossible, we'll know for sure just a few months from now at the JP Fanfest, which is where they usually get into stuff pertaining job design.

    So, my list is more or less of things (technical or just visual) that won't concern that topic.


    Dancer: Given that the TS window is already super crowded, there's little to no space to add anything new there without axing old stuff, so I'd like something to spicy up the otherwise boring TS downtime. Thematically, I'd love for the fire theme to be explored. Last but not least, Closed Position working exactly like its PVP variation, which is very easy to swap around - think about the whole new layers of optimization that could bring.

    Machinist: New Queen exo-suit that you wear and changes some of your actions during that time, with a cooldown that causes you to alternate between that and Queen for battery spender. Flamethrower generating heat and an AoE mode for the Queen.

    Black Mage: Amplifier upgrades into something that also changes your ice/thunder/fire spells into stronger void versions for 15s, but also with different effects and usages, so you enter a new rotation for the 2min marks. Extra charge for Manaward and now you can also cast it on other party members.

    Red Mage: Jolt removed as a filler spell, it just feels like unecessary bloat at this point. An actual 2 step gauge combo for the AoE rotation.

    Summoner: Shiva, Ramuh and Leviathan gemstones triggered after Phoenix with a more cast-time oriented playstyle. Physick scaling with INT properly. Carbuncle auto-attacking. Radiant Aegis detached from the Carbuncle itself.

    Samurai: Kaiten back - or at least something with similar function. Shoha I and II merging.

    Monk: Sorry, just fluff - Ancient filler combo animations upgraded.

    Astrologian: Draw (or Play) turned into a GCD, or the other way around. Lightspeed turning into a second sprint, also usable on other party members. Minor Arcana completely redesigned (honestly anything would be better than its current state). Cards are now sorted in 3 pairs for tanks/healers/dpsers instead of 2 trios for melee/ranged.

    White Mage: Lilies is actually a dps gain. Afflatus Misery turns into the special Quake>Flood>Tornado button after it's used. The last spell leaves a nasty dot.

    Sage: Find a way to make Addersting actually a dps gain.

    Here are my ideas for Bard -

    New(ish) abilities

    Foe Requiem, 1.5 cast, drains MP at a rate of 1000 per tick (30 second duration max). Increases damage taken by nearby enemies by whatever %

    Voice of Valor, 1.5 cast, drains MP at a rate of 1000 per tick (30 second duration max). Gradually restores HP of self and nearby allies, 100 potency per tick.

    Wide Volley - Deals damage with a potency of 100 to all enemies within target range. Lowers damage dealt by [something]%, 10 sec duration. Grants Cavernous Maw (15 secs)

    Inspiration - Increases determination of self and all nearby party members by 5%, 120 second cool-down, 15 sec duration.

    Nature’s Hymnus , 1.5 cast time, no MP cost. Can only be used whilst under the effect of Hymnus. Restores HP of self and nearby allies, 300 potency. 90 sec cool-down.


    Adjustment to existing skills/traits
    Repertoire - Each time Repertoire is generated, restores 500 MP

    Bloodletter - restores 500 MP on use

    Nature’s Minne - increase HP restoration via healing actions by 15% for self and nearby allies. Grants Nature’s Hymnus to self.

    Warden’s Paean - Removes one debuff from self or target ally. If no debuff is present, grants a shield that nullifies the next debuff and reduces damage taken by 5%

    Iron Jaws - Whilst under the effect of Cavernous Maw, Iron Jaws will extend the effect of Stormbite and Caustic Bite to nearby enemies around the target.

    NB: I am well aware none of these would ever be allowed to exist in ffxiv under any circumstances it’s just imaginary skills I think would be cool
