PLD is my all time favorite XI job, but it's probably one of the last jobs on the "Need" list. SE has made no effort to improve the practicality of PLD in XI.

I would prefer the XIV incarnation be not only infinitely more useful, but actually DESIRED among the playerbase.
The reason why PLD was (is?) so unwanted in FFXI is that Utsusemi exists and that makes the core strength of the class obsolete.
