With all honesty I don't give a damn about Meteion but when we fight her and the scions do go go go power of friendship crap it felt so cringe like really that's all ? 10 years for the end of the story to be beaten so easily because for like 30%-40% of the fight she just get beaten to death. She didn't die though. Granted, it is implied that she adopted her bird form permanently, but regardless - post Endsinger, the Scions clearly stated that Meteion had visited the Ragnarok/them to let them know that the Warrior of Light was on their way back, though she wasn't aware of the death battle occurring between the WoL and Zenos at the time.
And it's implied - or we're supposed to assume - that it is her we see taking flight following the scene where the Scions 'part ways'.
