Would it? Why? Why shouldn't so much be locked behind the main story in a game where the primary content is...the main story? Literally everything else in the game is second fiddle to MSQ whether we like it or not. This is a STORY driven mmo.
Yes because every single person plays the game for the MSQ, absolutely no one skips the story, that's also why there's no story skips on the store !
/s
Also it's obvious OP is not being genuine the second they say the game is "lit"
I am well aware not everyone plays this game for MSQ. My significant other has every job max to 90 and couldn't tell you a thing about this game story because they bought skips. While there is certainly nothing wrong with playing the game for any reason one wants, it would be in bad faith to say the core of this game isn't MSQ. I tell my SO all the time that based on how well I know them and the type of gamer they are that they would be better served by another MMO or game entirely. But they like to do roulettes and other content so its all good.
Sorry, saying the word "lit" is likely just as silly to me as it is you, but that doesn't invalidiate their opinion or make them not genuine.

no offense but you keep changing the goalposts on what is a genuine post. first its rightfully if they mention the negative leaning forum posts, now its because you dislike a word?
sounds like you would prefer zero positive posts
I assume that you fall in to the group that "loves the game so much we have to criticize whats wrong" mindset.... be happy people enjoy the game so much since they are actually help fund whatever new things and content we do get, just like you are. encouraging people to hate the game like you is no different than just telling people to leave. just a thought to consider
I pay a lot more than you do every single month, I wont say the exact number because of privacy reasons, but I pay more than 5 times what you pay monthly, so you cant tell me I hate the game, if I did, I wouldnt be playing or paying this much.no offense but you keep changing the goalposts on what is a genuine post. first its rightfully if they mention the negative leaning forum posts, now its because you dislike a word?

never said this was a contest to see how much we each pay. I could also have many accounts, just like you.
regardless, you still did not respond to the actual point of the post, which is sounds like you want zero positive posts.
You tried to make a point that I "hate the game" which I dont, because if I did I wouldnt pay this much nor play this much.
Genuine posts are good, however and I am not the only one to doubt that the OP is genuine, it seems... a bit much, the join date, 1 year later coming back to the game to tell us how "lit" the game is and how it's crazy amazing and everyone saying the game has issues in any way is wrong, topping it off with the childish "wow it's lit you wont convince me otherwise bro" and the little "blizzard sucks" in there too as the icing on the cake.

Yet you rarely have anything positive about the game to share in forum discussions. You're mostly a wall of negativity.
Shouldn't be hard to understand why some are skeptical.
Certainly developers need to know where players see the greatest need for improvement but they also need to know what they're doing right that keeps players coming back.
You've mentioned in the past you like the housing. Is that the only incentive for you to maintain multiple accounts or are there other game features that you're also enjoying?

I only pay $9.99 a month with up to 40 characters for free.
