Go clear TOP already Skiros, you don't look like yourself![]()
Are these threads really entertaining though?Hey, at least these troll threads are entertaining. Reddit is all catgirl commissioned art, Twitter is the same uncreative gpose panty shots. There's been feedback about the same red flags of bad game design written in all combinations of thorough and brief, snarky and dryly informative, hesitant and brazen. What we're left with on the forums is the same bunch of people mirthlessly shrieking for moderators and schoolmarming about "improperly-worded feedback" as if the wording made the slightest difference as to whether Square Enix gave a rip about it (hint, they don't, they only listen to 2ch and Twitter bitchfests if they get loud enough).
These threads at least still have a sense of humor under there. I can't say the same for the joyless "everything is fine, your feedback is wrong!" crowd.
Even worse, instead of jumping at each other throat, answer seriously, with argumented discussion. It doesn't happen much, but I've seen it here, someone creating an obviously troll or super angry post, and people taking the time to discuss every point seriously, while ignoring the trolls, and they ended leaving. But I guess asking people here to have a nuanced opinion is too much. All you need to do is reply with anything other than the topic at hand . Random facts , goofy images , terrible puns/dad jokes, something utterly random . Who knows they may get bored if the responses are never hooked by the bait replies and just filled with anything other than.
The easy consistency with which they can get the same group of people to harrumph that they're definitely NOT FUNNY and clutch their pearls about moderators only gets funnier every time it happens.
This game's white knights have such sticks up their butts, and their protestations to the contrary are actually incredibly funny. 10/10. Skiros threads are great; they rarely fail to provoke the living embodiments of that crying rage NPC wearing the smug mask meme.
