I agree the 2 weeks is too short a time frame for locking, but things that haven't been interacted with for over a year should probably be locked, maybe two years at the most, due to changes in the game and potentially outdated information causing mass confusion.
I feel like this should also be from subforum to subforum. The Lore subforum we'll often get people finding old information that a lot of us forgot from in the archives, or new info will bring an old thread back into the limelight. It would be a shame for old threads to be locked there just because new information is given outside of the time frame.
