    You're allowed to be offended all you want but the expectations that random strangers need to care about you being offended is where I have issues with people nowadays.

    That's fine. You don't need to give any additional effort to dealing with other peoples problems. But it's easy enough to be conscious of them so that you don't cause them to begin with.
    In the current climate where people are taking exception to basic measures such as avoiding known slurs and triggers, majority exceptionalism "I've never had a problem so why should I bother to educate myself? Other people should deal with my ignorance", sometimes it needs to be said.

    Or I can just not bother dealing with you because I hate people who expect other people to walk on eggshells around them.
