Getting offended is not a choice. Different people have different sensitivities.
Sir... this is a role-playing video game... human endocrinology has no possible relevance in the FANTASY world of Eorzea. Please do us and yourself a favor and keep your personal views relative to the hormones of human males out of our magical fantasy world. Thank you.
Calling it a cop out is a cop out. Just because you have certain “sensitivities” doesn’t mean someone is trying to “trigger” your fragility. You could grow a spine, or some thicker skin, go back to the old adage of words don’t hurt. Or curl up in your ball, trembling because someone said something you didn’t like and you let it break you
Yes yes it's very easy to be tough and edgy behind internet anonymity.Calling it a cop out is a cop out. But I guarantee, you have friends or family members with mental health issues, who struggle with these things. Do you tell them to 'grow a spine'? Or maybe you don't realise because you're the type of person they wouldn't confide in. Maybe it's a cousin with an eating disorder, or an uncle with PTSD. Mental health issues are real, therapy exists for a reason, and it's not because "everyone's so fragile nowadays".
Or possibly I, like many have my own issues. But they are no one else’s responsibility. Stop shovelling your crap onto other people and practice personal responsibility. Not up to me or anyone else to tip toe around your personal issuesYes yes it's very easy to be tough and edgy behind internet anonymity.

It takes no effort to not be an asshole to people. Grow up and treat people with a basic level of respect. You don't have the right to intentionally trigger people because you think it's their responsibility to deal with your bullshit.
