Why telling people to unsub is a horrible defense of the game.

WoW PvP wouldn't be dead if they just sync'd everyone to a more fair level. However, doing that would kill the gear grind and take away the fantasy of geared players owning entire battlegrounds by themselves due to gear and unbalanced classes.


Open World PvP is dead in WoW. PvP servers are just gankfests/ganging up on players minding their business. Not to mention with Dragonflight, it's very easy to just... avoid PvP, which players do on PvP servers unless they have an unfair advantage or numbers on their side. That's why almost all PvP servers are either massively in favor of one faction over the other - population-wise.

Dueling isn't a big thing anymore due to classes being unbalanced. No one wants to duel, say... a Ret Paladin, as they will destroy nearly every class in 1 vs 1.

No one raids major cities anymore. I haven't seen a Major city raided since Classic to Cataclysm. With everyone in Valdrakken, why would anyone attack Orgrimmar or Stormwind? Not to mention that the gear/rep/M+ grind takes up a LOT of time, so players aren't just gonna group up anymore and raid a Major City when they get nothing out of it. Not to mention that being able to Fly kills the spirit of City Raids too.

They haven't gotten a new Battleground in YEARS. Let that sink in. Not to mention that Battlegrounds are extremely unbalanced and after the first week, they're just a place for overgeared players to farm honor off less geared players.

Arena? The population doing arena has dropped drastically as players would rather farm World Quests, Raid, or do the toxic M+ gameplay. Very few seriously play Arena anymore, most are just buying carries which Blizzard allows in Trade Chat. M+ and Raids can have carries sold in Trade chat too, as this promotes players buying WoW Tokens to afford it. That's why Blizzard no longer bans carries and let's them be openly advertised.

No, I wouldn't want any of that in FF14.

How to spot someone that didnt play WoW in years? He still talks about PvP Servers. They dont exist anymore outside classic. Dont know why you guys always come to the defense of the game with "but WoW bad" and then drop incorrect stuff that makes you look like a fool?
