Act generally is a program just for DPS meter, however because the information act gathers it can implement several things through that like dbm in this game (reference to WoW boss mod program) even seeing it go as far as be able to show overlays on screen where abilities will hit before the abilities cast so said player instantly can know where to go to be safe. It is completely against TOS however they have not put an anti cheat to detect it because it would destroy add-ons that aren't really chests like ones that let bunny people wear hats...
