Biggest piece of advice I could give is: raid with people who you can criticize to their face and who can criticize you to yours. People need to improve and learn to actually clear the content and if they aren't willing to hear their mistakes or you're not comfortable having them tell you (maybe because you're all friends and don't want to wreck the friendship), find a different group.
