
......I'm just hearing cope right now...Getting better rewards is also not mutually exclusive from improving or developing new and fun modes.
They arent on a shared budget because they are designed by separate people. PvP modes and combat are designed by a different team (Combat Design) than those managing game systems (UX Design) to facilitate rewards and encouragement to further engage with the other. They are supposed to be symbiotic, not exclusive from each other.
