Ranked is mega unpopular even though it offers the same rewards as Unranked

You cannot. You need an alt on the DC you want to rank on. You can do casuals while DC traveling.

I got what i wanted, Crystal in Season 1.

When Finals pvp gets revamps and everybody, including me, has no clue whats going on, it is then that achieving a high tier/Rank has the most appeal to me. It is also the time when 3rd party software is mostly not there yet.

So i specifically wanted to get the highest tier in season 1. Since no new and desirable rewards have been introduced since then i see no reason to play ranked.

Same, made it in season 1 then stopped playing. Its filled with cheaters and win trader now. yok

It's almost like Ranked in games is intended to be played in a serious manner where outperforming the enemy is the goal.

I mean you can just say you prefer Casual or no PvP, that's okay too.

i mean yeah that is indeed the point of ranked but i cannot help but feel like taking ff14's ranked modes seriously is a bit silly considering the lack of group queuing, not that it matters though since unless they change a couple of things ranked is gonna stay dead untill new series pass lol.

... yeah, i agree seeing as id rather the FUN aspect of things be made the focus of the modes instead of balance or ranked.. unless theres something thats borderline cheating that needs to be fixed 'balance' should take a back seat.
