I'd say you're fine. The person who joined your FC is free to choose their own path, they don't belong to anyone, especially their old FC leader who seems to be trying to cage them.

To be honest, with the mindset your previous FC leader took, its not surprising people didn't want to play in an environment with that person.

exactly people are free to make their own choices and that includes which guild to join, its just a game and it is meant to be played for fun, you do not owe the old FC leader any explanation and neither does anyone else. if he wants to go around slandering your name thats his business which you can report him for.

i do not understand the guild loyalty mentality just because you join someones guild does not mean you belong to it nor does it mean you are forced to stay, the moment a FC stops becoming fun or does not align with your playstyle is when you should leave it and why people get upset over that thinking you've betrayed them is beyond me
