Yes and no. I'd have to get the link but there was a drama channel on youtube that read stories that got submitted to them and one included a lalafell in an FC that couldn't even post pictures in the FC discord of their character being in the bathing suit from the seasonal because it made people in the FC uncomfortable. While nearly guaranteed to happen for NSFW activity, even relatively innocent things in SFW, people can overreact to..
[[Indeed, but calling for people that have no idea those people even existed and sending their followers to send hate messages toward that person is a issue, while also locking them away for discouse from the general public even on their regular main account.]]
First case of in-game harassment.
[[ No, it's meant purely as an example that the in-game report system doesn't fix every issue. There are easy ways to bypass it.]]
.
[[ Not really a choice when you deal with people that are black hats and know how to hack accounts in addition to that.]]
It sounds like there's more to this.
[[ TL;DR - In my specific case, I was a venue owner around 1-1.5 years ago when a group of trolls got paid around 200mil to attack/blackmail venue owners. If you're on Aether, you'd recognize the names Fight Club, Spacebar, The Velvet Room, Babylon, The Syndicate, Succubares Insomnium etc. Some venues got hit with griefing in game, allegations of animal abuse, RMT, others got hit with fake documents of discord conversations, using the inspect tool to change profile pictures etc. to impersonate people. RP community in general is full of trauma victims that automatically believe accusations even without "the victim" being someone they can even see or know. Because I know about dealing with the consequences of being called a pedophile like what was originally complained about, I gave examples of what harassment could look like. It's not a simple 'block this person, problem solved', it can very quickly snowball into dealing with thousands of people depending on your individual community.]]
.
[[ It's not repeated, it's from the same incident. That's called venue owners being cross-data center in connections to share information before you're able to update them on what's going on. You only get apologies after the fact when the damage to your relationships are already done because you're playing catch up.]]
.
[[They don't have to send you a rude tell, they'll just get you get kicked from the venue, or fc, or a discord community, or a twitter one. A rude tell is the least concern someone in said situation would have.]]
.
[[ As I said above, it's the consequences of pedophile accusations, not just being a lalafell, that I am speaking on. Some lalafell deal with it, some don't. But the one's in the RP community that treat their lalafell as adults go through the things I'm describing.]]
.
I for one welcome our new chair overlord.

You all need to get a life... The worst thing about this game is the community that is full of snowflakes.

So after some rudimentary research, it seems like the overwhelming majority of genuine hostility towards Lalafell comes from a tiny minority of obsessively malicious players. One of the more recent efforts to harass Lalafell players is being carried out by, and I'm not joking, a single person with a myriad of alts across the Data Center in question.
just wana leave my contribution here <3

Yes, they are known troll from Aether. I actually know them. tl;dr - they have a trauma background as a kid and are crusading against anyone who tolerates lalafell nsfw as that is a trigger for them on a personal level. Before said crusade, they were trolling venues, scamming guests, etc. and from what I heard from one of the other owners that was in a war with them, had over 40 accounts banned over the last year or so and is still back. So that is a clear indication of some of the persistence that people can have regarding the subject. In addition to them, there's also a few venue owners on Aether that used to kick FC members that were tolerant of it and started backdoor boycotts of other venues while denying it publicly. Lot of dirty stuff in the background, but I don't want to rant/give story time too much.So after some rudimentary research, it seems like the overwhelming majority of genuine hostility towards Lalafell comes from a tiny minority of obsessively malicious players.
