Believe me you dont know lazy...

I won't argue that the outfits being done the way they are bad...but none of you know what lazy is and don't pretend to if you never played PSO 2 NGS.... ._. that game is lazy...ported class with no difference from base, copies botw, cant craft, emotes are broke ( you buy with real money), character hair is broken ( you buy with real money), game always crashing, events always the same no matter what, weapons can't be bought must be gain through RNG or bought for 100+ million, and you keep repeating this step...people on there begging sega to do something different and sega been doing same gameplay loop for 2 years.

Believe me...you guys should be happy at least you have in game stuff to get past the mogstation people on pso2 ngs have to buy their stuff through a loot box that begs them to spend 80-300.00.

Just saying O. o I would call them greedy before lazy at least the game works and has set progress to look fun rather than be a game where people sit in lobby all day starting drama or crying about the game... oh wait thats what were doing right now.

Just want to say, as someone who actively plays NGS, most of what you described, although there aren't many explanations included as to what you mean exactly (other than your dislike of the cash shop, which, btw, you can certainly not partake in), sounds like your system being incompatible with the game, and then a heavy handed mix of sour grapes as a result.

PSO2NGS is about to get a new class, and we're getting instanced housing in the month after; from what I've experienced, I haven't ever needed to spend a cent since its release, and that still continues to this day, and I have quite the catalogue of cosmetics, emotes, and motions built up. It's actually pretty great, if you're willing to be patient and put in the time.

Holy shit, I might actually give PSO2NGS a try..

This is nuts. It's basically the Wildstar housing on crack. https://youtu.be/trF_JC4_muE

The problem is likely going to be what it costs. The original personal housing in base PSO2 required you having the "permit" in the form of items. You either won that from the scratch tickets, or you had to pay real money for them.

Well, they confirmed that you do not require a premium pass for NGS's Creative Space (that's what they're calling it, since you can fully terraform a whole landmass rather than just decorate a room), and that it will be freely given to all NGS players. Premium Pass will get you an extra space to work with. Creative spaces can be shared, too, and I believe guilds get their own to share amongst members.
So, theoretically, the cost will be found in the items that you need to get to be able to decorate with. This will either be funded by SG, the return of FUN points, or maybe N-Meseta.
But you're right to be skeptical, since we don't know full cost details other than no longer needing a premium pass.

As someone who plays NGS, I wouldn't recommend it unless you're into nothing but soul-sucking mob grinds for months on end with an extremely subpar story and disgustingly low drop rates on things you actually need. The market is also incredibly inflated so unless you feed(throw your money at) the gacha machine and sell items from that (which requires a shop pass you either get from the monthly pass/forking over your credit card for premium), you're gonna struggle to make decent meseta in a quick timeframe to actually afford phashion (at least the good stuff) and such regularly. The housing coming is awesome and many are excited for it but the game itself is still in a somewhat bad shape for actually playing and getting engaged with it (although I will say the Kvaris region was decent).

for a year, would you rather be secretly filmed at random moments and have the footage uploaded to your social media or loose $100 when ever you said a curse word?

Also from what I gather it will be heavily monetised down the road no doubt that and the game is borderline maintenance for how little they update or add to the game. It has a lot of potential but a lot of it just wasted in my eyes.

On the bright side, base PSO2 is still there, and the story is worth playing. Episode 1 is basically like ARR with a lot of buildup that doesn't seem to do much, Episode 2 slaps you with "you thought all that stuff was unimportant? THINK AGAIN!" Episode 3 puts a nice bow on a trilogy style story. Episode 4 is...please, we don't speak of Episode 4 (especially...her. We do not need to summon the superboss here). Episode 5 is a mixed bag, with the first half being a love letter to the original Phantasy Star, and the 2nd half actually being plot relevant to the overarching story. Episode 6 is the grand finale that just screams badass with some of the best music in the game and the best urgents (Armada of Destruction is amazing mecha action).

I need to get round to playing the base one...its like I love the gameplay of the older one but like the more open level design of new genesis. I will go back through it though at some point! I mean 7.0 could be this games version of New Genesis and you can play one or the other. I don't see why they couldn't allow people to start at the new point, maybe give them a rundown of the plot in a loose fashion and then use their unending codex they put into the game to put the lore and character info in for more in depth reading. On top of that new game plus if you want to experience what happened before all this.
