So you literally just went into slightly more detail about what they said. What is there to argue indeed. You are obligated to agree with the conditions of a contract in Real Life. The same sense of obligation is agreed upon when you play a video game, whether it has a subscription or not.
You want a house, knowing about demolition and the requirements for a subscription to prevent it? Either you are obligated to fulfill the conditions for the house, or you decline the contract.
What is there to argue?
Correct, but also incorrect. There is a bit of coercion involved. If you unsub and leave the game, you lose your house, thus persuading players to stay subbed under threat (I don't mean real danger, so I can clarify and not leave that one open to interpretation or open to someone twisting my words) of housing demolitions and return regularly even if they don't want to at the time. Players know what they are doing and what they are getting into. They just aren't always happy about it.

'Just unhappy' that they agreed to known terms and conditions, discovering that those are actually enforced (outside of certain exceptions)?Correct, but also incorrect. That is no more coercion than purchasing a house in Real Life with the expectation that there are no additional costs such as insurance and property taxes you will pay for the next 15-30 years. You may be unhappy with it, but you either pay it or lose your house.
It's because what you're both saying, although true - Don't actually matter within the context of our discussion and our general frustration. Did you already forget the actual discussion? Or are you just purposefully being obtuse?
Yes I have a personal and FC house. Yes I can be salty. But the context here is that some of us that have engaged in this content, also want to take a break. So we will take that break, but at the cost of keeping the sub. Because the mental cost of trying to re-obtain the access to this type of content again is too much. As you already know. These are facts, and I will continue to keep my sub. It's annual so it doesn't even matter to me. But it would be nice if we didn't have to worry about such a shitty FOMO system.
Now, we can all agree that it would be nice. Correct? So why is this even a debate.
Let's move on with our lives, stop telling people they can't wish for a more friendly, non-FOMO oriented system.
Throwing around "Yeah well you signed the contract" is just.. Toxic? We know what we're playing. We just have wishes. It's how games evolve. By asking for things and engaging with dev and our community. Always responding with "Yeah but dems da rulez" is just trolling at this point. We know. You don't have to engage. I don't know why you put yourself in a position to engage. It's pointless on your end because the only goal you would have is to shut down discussion around requesting a better experience for all of us.
People dislike you because you add no value to the discussion. You're just trying to say things to piss people off for some reason. Maybe you should pay attention to what you're providing the group. Do you feel you're increasing the overall happiness and engagement of this discussion? Do you often interject discussions in real life by sowing conflict with 0 value? Do you find yourself often left out of group discussions because you "Tell it like it is"?
What you provide isn't constructive. It's dismissive.

I will not be engaging with you any further. Good luck, have fun, etc.'Just unhappy' that they agreed to known terms and conditions, discovering that those are actually enforced (outside of certain exceptions)?

Are you seriously drawing parallels to real life housing? You really think you have made a point here?
Bruh the miles some people go to defend some really bad game-design is astonishing. Or this is really bad trolling. :,D
It's not trolling. This guy posts a lot on the forums for no other reason but to be argumentative and aggressive towards anyone criticizing the game and flip things around on technicalities using bad analogies like he's some sort of politician. Just ignore it.
He's like 70, he doesn't understand how housing works in 2023. We out here struggling. lol
People: "THE GAME HAS LOTS OF CONTENT"
The same People: spend their whole day on the forums cause there is nothing to be done outside of afking in a city
