It's exactly what it says on the text you posted: a Lalafell can be of virtually any age and non-Lalafells will have trouble telling. What's lore accurate about them having "child-like countenance" (which is at most neoteny) isn't that Lalafells must be children: it just means non-Lalafells have the potential to be terrible people about it.

Again, it's extremely easy not to be a wet blanket over something that doesn't affect you.

Funny or not, I know a huge chunk of the people who play Miqo'te would be absolutely pissed. I can't speak for you, but I get beyond annoyed when strangers call me a giraffe or a dhalmel. In comparison to what most Lalafell go through that's like walking on easy street.

Everyone loves to point out the "childlike" clause like it means anything (They're just youthful in appearance). A majority of lalafell in the story and in lore are treated like adults. Yoshi p has gone on record saying they can't depict children getting hurt in the narrative and why they cannot create actual children/child models to put in danger. The only people infantizing us is the playerbase. They are the ones who refuse us from things (normal or not) and constantly belittle lalafells in duty content. We get harassed nonstop.

We're tired of being treated like jokes, hence the furniture item, and tired of being treated like children as well.

I would say that picture is relevant because it literally expresses lore behind the race. The whole point is to be child like but not actual children. They're cute, small, chibi and very child like. I mean have you not read their names? It's literally wordplay like a child. There for them having childish things is relevant. I agree they are adults and practically midgets and people freaking out about them being 'lolis' or w/e is a bit much but to express such criticism isn't going to get you anywhere. Instead of lashing out, maybe try approaching this a little differently. They're not gonna remove or fix furniture otherwise they'd have fix the spiral staircase already and that thing been broken since 2.x
