There are a lot of good points to this game. It's only when you settle into endgame and get better at playing that you start to realize there's no substance behind the flashiness, crafting barely has a point, QoL will never really improve and jobs have an extremely low skill ceiling.

I'd imagine if there was going to be a sub drop, it'll be a year or two. But the devs and many players don't get this. They've let success go to their heads and have taken it as a sign of "we must be doing it right!". FFXIV is very focused on short term entertainment now and lacking terribly in long term value. So it's not surprising subs haven't dropped yet, but I really can't see years of FATE's, grinding tomes, unchanging bland jobs and an ever expanding and ever messier forced MSQ holding people forever.
in think that is what they plan for the next 10 years .more of the same and more solo play. hell people are now full time decorating the FC home and shit like this. i am surprised how many people do JUST this. but all hope that the next thing be it. only for it to be as bland as ever.
